Best Citrus Juicer of 2016

Citrus juicers are specifically designed to juice citrus fruit exclusively. They have a reamer which grinds away at the interior of the fruit as it is pressed against it. The reamer extracts the pulp and the juice from the fruit.

In the end, the pulp is separated from the juice and you are left with filtered and pulp-free juice from the fruit. Below, we have reviewed eight of the best citrus juicers.

Citrus Juicer Reviews

Epica Powerful Stainless Steel Whisper-Quiet

This is the most affordable citrus juicer that we have reviewed today. It has a great looking design that we loved. It also comes with two different sized reamers to fit your fruit of the day.

It runs on a 70 Watt motor and has a single touch start/stop function. It’s very simple to use and for its price, it’s hard to beat. If you are looking for a juice extractor without spending upwards of $200, this is our recommendation for you.

It’s one of the top-selling juicers on Amazon because of this price point and all of the features that it brings. Overall, it has a good design, it does everything that you could want from a citrus juice extractor, and it will provide you with fresh squeezed citrus juice within minutes.

Breville BCP600SIL

The Breville BCP600SIL is very easy to use and it allows you to pin the fruit against the reamer and get everything that you can out of it. The press allows you to really put some pressure on the fruit against the reamer. It has a dripless spout that prevents any excess drops from falling after you remove the cup from the spout. The spout can be flipped up once you are done using it and you are ready to place it into storage.

Eurolux Motorized Machine with Handle and Cone Lid

This is a great looking citrus extractor that uses a universally sized reamer to extract all the juice from your fruit. It has a built-in filter that collects most of the pulp and filters out of the pits and seeds from the fruit.

The press has a rubber grip to create a comfortable feel for you as you use it. It also has automatic on and off functionality. It will automatically turn on as soon as the handle is pressed down. Once you are done, lift the handle and it will automatically stop.

This is another well-designed machine that is being sold at a very affordable rate. For the budget friendly shopper, this, along with the Epica, are two great options to consider.

Dash Stainless

This one comes with two separate reamers that you can interchange in and out to match the fruit that you are juicing. It does not have a press so you will have to put pressure on the fruit by hand. Generally, we did not find this to be an issue at all.

We love the design of it. It has a stainless steel exterior and a black top. It is easy to take apart and clean and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Breville 800CPXL Die-Cast

This machine takes a big step up in the functionality of the juicer. It has a press and an automatically activated on/off function. It is made completely of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. This helps make the cleaning process easy.

Overall, this is an extremely high-quality machine that Breville has put their all into. If you are looking for the best of the best, look no further than this one.

Juiceman JCJ150S

The Juiceman JCJ150S is hands down our favorite choice that we have reviewed. When you are looking through and comparing each of these juicers, one of the features that we like the most was the auto reverse function that some of them had. This is a feature that only a few of the juicers that we reviewed had. In fact, only this one and the Oster have this feature.

Regardless, we decided this was a must-have feature if it came down to what we feel is the best citrus juicer. So it came down to this and the Oster. We chose this because of the way it looks.

Although we love the Oster, we don’t like the way it was designed as much. It is a little more expensive, but if you want to get the most out of your citrus, the reverse function is a must-have. We feel it is well worth the money.

Breville 800CPXL

This particular model sets itself apart with its included DVD that you will get when you order it. The DVD is packed with information and ideas that you can use with your machine. It’s great for someone that is just starting out. Aside from the DVD, this is another one of Breville’s efforts to make the best possible they could come up with.

Oster 3186

This is an electric citrus juicer that has a reverse function option on it as well. The only downside that we felt it had was the appearance of it. It has a plastic exterior which we didn’t care for very much. Aside from that, this is one of our favorites.

Final Thoughts

For us, our best choice came down to two options: the Juiceman because of its reverse motor function or the Epica because of how affordable it is. The right juicer for you will depend on what you are looking to spend and the features that you want from your juice extractor.
